Chief Financial Officer, EMEA Region

Geert Jan Jongeneel is responsible for all financial areas across the EMEA region including accounting, controlling, client finance, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, tax and legal affairs.

Prior to his current position, Geert Jan served for six years as statutory director and CFO for the Netherlands for TQ3 Travel Solutions, where he oversaw the finance, legal, human resources and supplier relations divisions. In 2004, he as added the responsibilities of CFO for the Nordic region to his portfolio.

Early in his professional career, Geert Jan worked as auditor at what is now called PriceWaterhouse Coopers and held financial management positions at PTT Telecom ( now KPN). In 1994 he accepted the position of finance director at Unisource Business Networks Netherlands, a joint venture in data communications between Dutch Telecom, Swedish Telecom and Swiss Telecom. In 1998, he rejoined KPN as manager, Business Control, where he took on the challenge of complex financial analysis and business segmentation during the organization’s restructuring.
