Denied-boarding compensation system

The action taken by the EU in the field of air transport aims, among other things, at ensuring a high level of protection for passengers. This Regulation establishes common rules on compensation and assistance to passengers in the event of denied boarding and of cancellation or long delay of flights.

Effective aviation safety standards in Europe have rendered our safety record amongst the best in the world. Rules for handluggage

Only limited amounts of liquids may be taken on board flights that depart from EU countries and on connecting flights from Europe. Please note that more and more countries are following these regulations for hand baggage.

Controlling cash movements into and out of the EU

The EU Council of Ministers on 12 July 2005 adopted a Regulation which aims to introduce an EU-wide approach to controlling cash movements into and out of the EU.
